Interventions for reducing teenage pregnancy are clear: Building knowledge, skills, resilience and aspirations of young people towards uptake of health services as well as creating a supportive school and community environment helps them to delay sex until they are ready to enjoy healthy and consensual relationships later in their life. Evidence over time as shown that use of data to inform decisions and actions as well as working in partnership is vital. Enhancing participation of adolescents in leadership and decision-making as well as accelerating government actions to invests in adolescent health leads to lower teenage pregnancy rates.
