Consultancy Opportunities with Faith for Family Health initiative (3FHi)

About 3FHi
Established in 2017, Faith for Family Health Initiative (3FHi) is a national interfaith NGO based in Kampala, Uganda, dedicated to improving maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (MNCH) and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Through interfaith collaboration and partnerships with organizations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, PATHFINDER, and GAVI/PATH, we’ve impacted 20+ districts by training over 500 health champions, mobilizing USD 200,000 for family planning, and strengthening advocacy platforms. We invite experienced consultants/firms to apply for the following consultancies to support our mission:
- Develop a Safeguarding Policy
Objective: Design a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy to prevent harm, abuse, and exploitation, ensuring compliance with Ugandan laws and international standards.
Scope: Conduct risk assessments, develop codes of conduct, and deliver training and a 12-month roadmap.
Deliverables: Inception report, risk & gap assessment, policy with tools, workshops, and implementation roadmap.
Timeframe: 6–8 weeks.
Details: Terms of Reference. - Develop a Risk Management Framework
Objective: Create an Organizational Risk Management Framework/Plan to address operational, financial, strategic, reputational, and compliance risks.
Scope: Develop a corporate risk register, project-specific plans, and conduct validation workshops.
Deliverables: Inception report, draft/final risk management policy, risk register, and project plans.
Timeframe: 6–8 weeks (25–30 consultant days).
Details: Terms of Reference. - Review and Develop 2025–2030 Strategic Plan
Objective: Evaluate the 2021–2024 Strategic Plan and develop a new 2025–2030 plan aligned with Uganda’s health priorities and SDGs.
Scope: Assess achievements, update 3FHi’s mandate, and create a costed plan with M&E framework.
Deliverables: Inception report, draft/final strategic plan, updated mandate, and action plan with budget.
Timeframe: 6–8 weeks.
Details: Terms of Reference. - Develop a 5-Year Fundraising & Resource Mobilization Strategy
Objective: Create a strategy to secure sustainable funding for 3FHi’s programs.
Scope: Assess funding landscapes, map opportunities, conduct SWOT analysis, and develop a costed plan with M&E.
Deliverables: Inception report, stakeholder consultation report, draft/final strategy, and implementation plan.
Timeframe: 6 weeks.
